Banjo Chords: Position 1 - Minor Chords In The Standard Open G Tuning

The following chord charts are illustrations of minor chords at position 1 in the open G tuning. The chords follow a uniform positioning of the fingers on the fretboard of the 5-string banjo. The locations differ as the chord progressions move up the neck. Practice identifying the locations and the respective chord name.

Be sure to reference the numbers to the left of the fretboard diagrams in order to pinpoint specific fret locations.
*** Important note to all banjoists: Bishline Banjo necks are easier to fret than other banjos! ***
